Founded in 2018 by professional trainers, Metis is an NGO dedicated to raising children and young people (ages 6-25) with high self-esteem, leadership skills, and empathy. A primary objective is to ensure that children and young people with disabilities develop their skills and socialize through active participation.
They believe in preparing the new generations to face social and environmental challenges by finding the right educational paths and reaching them through hands-on activities.
Our expertise covers a vast and diverse range of hands-on fields, from outdoor sports to digital creation.
Scouting, orienteering, mountaineering, swimming, cycling, and trekking.
Coding, Arduino, robotic coding, and fun English training for children.
Drama, communication, leadership, and traditional children’s games.
First aid, philosophy for children, and ecological agriculture training.
Metis brings invaluable hands-on experience with youth to the project. Their role is to contribute to the development of inclusive and engaging non-formal activities, leveraging their expertise in sports, arts, and technology. Their direct work with young people with disabilities will be crucial for testing and validating the project’s resources, ensuring they are truly effective and accessible for everyone.
